Seattle

We made it. The trip was pretty good. Nicholas was a champ flying. He didn't stir going up or down. He was a bit fussy twice on the way there when he was tired but couldn't fall asleep. On the way home he either ate or slept the whole way. We had a good time mostly. Nicholas got sick Friday afternoon - was vomiting and pooping green which I guess indicates a virus. We called the pediatrician twice and almost ended up in the ER but after some pedialite and reduced feedings he was on the mend by Saturday afternoon. Nicholas, Grandma Bette and I missed the football game but it was worth it to see his happy smile return Sunday. We had a great visit with Terry, Amy, Gannon and Ben. It is always good to see them - wish we saw them more. And of course - spending time with Grandma Bette and Grandpa is always good. Nicholas is changing so much so fast so it's good for them to see him as much as possible. Skype is good but not as good as a cuddle. Our next trip is Thanksgiving back to see Grandma Bette and Grandpa. Hopefully we won't have to take as much gear as we will have access to a washing machine. We felt like sherpas climbing Mt. Everest on this trip with the car seat, stroller, 2 suitcases, breast pump, diaper backpack, and Matt's backpack. Seems like we'll need all that at Thanksgiving too. Yikes!
